I don’t like to do a traditional TBR; I’m definitely the type of person who prefers to pick up what I’m in the mood for at the time, rather than setting a reading goal for the month. However, my TBR pile is growing to an uncontrollable number and I figured that something had to be done about it, and so the TBR Jar was created!
Last month was quite the book buying month because, guys, I discovered books for a £1 at a garden centre in Wakefield. Yes! November was meant to be a quiet one for me because with Christmas around the corner it’s supposed to be the month for buying for others. But it wasn’t. I ended up buying 13+ books. 13 of which are going to feature in today’s post. I’d have them all except that I can’t remember/can’t locate all the books that I did buy last month.
Now that we’ve reached the very beginning of September, it’s about time to recap the books that I purchased last month, and I’ve had quite a successful month for books in August.
