Hello everyone! Today I’m going to talk about Robert Jordan’s The Eye of the World. Originally published in 1990, it is the first book in the epic high fantasy series The Wheel of Time.
I read The Eye of the World for the first time almost sixteen years ago. Back then I was completely obsessed; I think it was the first thing that I went full on ‘fangirl‘ for.
Just a warning, this is a long one so I’ve summed it up in about three or four sentences right at the end.
I picked up Cinder, a retelling of the classic Cinderella, by Marissa Meyer from Amazon whilst staying with my parents in Aberdeenshire back in April. I’d never heard of the series before but who can turn down the promise of a cyborg mechanic Cinderella? No one, I tell you, no one with any sense anyway! And I really liked the cover and I can’t turn away from an attractive book cover. Call me shallow.
Today’s review is for Shay West’s Organ Reapers.
I was gifted Organ Reapers back in October and read it almost straight away and yet here it is over half a year later finally appearing on Dewey Girl. It’s been a long old slog to get back into blogging, everyone.
